Frequently asked questions
What is the Aster Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress and what makes it special?
The Aster is a 11" organic Dunlop latex mattress from Healthy Choice with three customizable layers (base, middle, and top) plus an organic cotton cover and organic wool filling for temperature regulation and fire protection.
Who would benefit most from the three-layer customization?
This mattress suits sleepers who want to tailor firmness across the base, middle, and top layers to fit their preferred support, posture, and sleeping position. Queen and King sizes offer dual firmness on each side.
What materials are used and what do they feel like in daily use?
It uses 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex in each layer, encased in organic cotton with a wool-filled cover. The wool helps with temperature regulation, while the latex provides a supportive, buoyant feel that can range from firm to soft based on layer choices.
Is this mattress a good match for adjustable bed bases?
Yes, the mattress is described as versatile and can be used with an adjustable bed base.
What sizes and customization options are available beyond standard dimensions?
The mattress offers customizable layers and can be made to custom sizes upon request, with dual firmness options on Queen and King for personalized comfort.
What should first-time buyers know about choosing the layers?
First-time buyers should consider their typical sleep position and desired pressure relief: base layer firmness, middle layer (firm, medium, or soft), and top layer (soft or medium) combine to create the overall feel.
The Healthy Choice Aster 11" mattress combines customization with certified organic materials to deliver a sleeping surface tailored to your exact preferences. Featuring a 4" firm or medium base layer, a 4" middle core (firm, medium, or soft), and a 3" top layer (soft or medium), this mattress adapts to different body types, weights, and sleeping positions while maintaining a breathable, temperature-regulated feel thanks to organic wool filling and an organic cotton cover.
Each 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop latex layer is encased in organic cotton and finished with a quilted organic wool cover for durability and natural flame protection. Available in queen and king sizes with dual-firmness options on each side, it can be customized to fit any bed setup—including adjustable bases—while optional hardwood slatted foundations provide a complementary support solution.
